All-terrain buggy based on a Lada frame developed in Russia

Engine and gearbox installed longitudinally

The Russian Ministry of Defence has developed a design for a lightweight, high-cross-country transport vehicle capable of carrying personnel. The buggy is designed to use standard components from rear-wheel-drive VAZ vehicles.

The design is based on a power frame, with its rear part extended by the developers and transformed into a load-bearing cargo platform. It is located above the rear axle and can withstand loads from transported cargo or stretchers.

The engine and gearbox are installed longitudinally, using the standard mounting points of rear-wheel-drive VAZ models. The rear axle is connected to the power unit by a standard driveshaft.

At the same time, the vehicle received a protective power contour around the crew. The design includes longitudinal spars, cross members, and arched elements that form a spatial frame.
