The upgraded heavy transport aircraft Il-76MD-90A has received a modern navigation system that allows it to perform any tasks with high accuracy. This was announced by the chief pilot of the "Il" company, Honored Test Pilot of Russia Sergey Sukhar.
According to him, Ilyushin's designers thought through every detail. Thanks to the "glass cockpit", the comfort of even long flights has sharply increased.

The head of OAK, Vadim Badeha, stated that there is huge interest from foreign customers in the Il-76MD-90A.
Earlier it became known that by the end of 2027, the Ulyanovsk enterprise "Aviastar" expects to build 12 Il-76MD-90A military transport aircraft per year, and then increase the pace to 18 machines.
