Starting August 1, Russians will no longer need to activate a special service to receive tax notifications via "Gosuslugi". Now, documents will automatically arrive in the personal accounts of all users with a confirmed account. The upcoming autumn campaign for paying property taxes for 2025 will also follow the new rules.
According to the Federal Tax Service, not only tax notifications but also demands for debt payment and decisions on its collection will automatically be sent to the personal account on "Gosuslugi". Previously, a separate application had to be submitted to receive these documents electronically.
For users of the "Taxpayer's Personal Account" service on the official FNS website, nothing will change – they will continue to receive documents through this service. Paper notifications by mail will still only be sent to citizens who do not have a confirmed account on "Gosuslugi" and access to the tax service's electronic services.
The new procedure became possible after changes adopted by the State Duma in July 2025.
