Russians have started to take appliances for repair more often instead of buying new ones. According to "Avito Services", in the summer of 2026, interest in restoring power tools and small household appliances significantly increased.
Jigsaws showed the main jump – the number of requests increased by 86%. Renovators were repaired 84% more often, screwdrivers and electric planers – by 79%, perforators – by 75%.
In the kitchen, too, they decided not to rush with replacement. Demand for meat grinder repair increased by 48%, range hoods – by 39%, food processors – by 35%, coffee machines – by 33%, mixers – by 30%.
In terms of the total number of applications in summer, air conditioners and split systems lead – about 6% of all requests. They are followed by smartphones and tablets, refrigerators and freezers, as well as washing machines and televisions.
