The launch of one "Iskander-K" complex cruise missile can cost approximately $1 million. This estimate was provided by military analyst Sergey Marzhetsky.

The R-500 or 9M728 "Iskander-K" missile differs from the more well-known "Iskander-M" version by using cruise missiles instead of ballistic ones. They fly at low altitudes, bypass terrain, and remain a difficult target for air defense systems.

According to open sources, the missile's speed reaches 950 km/h, and the warhead mass is about 500 kg. The guidance system uses a combination of inertial navigation, satellite correction, and terrain matching.

Two missiles are placed on one vehicle, and preparation for launch takes only a few minutes.

Foreign sources stated that Russia builds two missiles for the "Iskander" every day.
