The mobile radar station "Svarog" has begun testing as part of units that will evaluate its effectiveness in real combat conditions. The complex is designed for continuous monitoring of airspace, detection, determination of coordinates, and tracking of aerial objects.
According to the developers, the maximum detection range for aircraft-type drones and large copters reaches 15 kilometers. The station can confidently detect more compact copters at a distance of up to 7 kilometers.
In addition to aerial targets, the complex can detect uncrewed boats. For such objects, the declared maximum operating range is up to 15 kilometers.
It is assumed that "Svarog" will be used as part of mobile fire groups in conjunction with interceptor drones, which will allow for faster target detection and prompt response to their appearance.
The radar weighs 28 kilograms. The complex is equipped with a pan-and-tilt device and can perform a full 360-degree scan of the airspace in just one second. The high scanning speed allows for almost instantaneous detection of new targets and their tracking without long delays.
