The 500-hp BELARUS 5425 tractor underwent tests in real field conditions – for the first time, female machine operator Tatiana Suprun from the agricultural enterprise "Agro-Motol" worked behind the wheel of the machine. The check was part of the preparation of the new heavy tractor for mass production.
The tests were conducted by specialists from the Minsk Tractor Works as part of the project "Behind the Wheel of the Future: A Woman's Perspective". The new BELARUS 5425 belongs to the class of super-powerful agricultural machinery and is designed to work with large mounted and trailed implements.
The machine received an automated control system, a spacious cabin with air conditioning, and modern solutions to improve operator comfort. One of the tractor's features is the ability to perform some operations with one hand, which reduces the load on the machine operator during long work.
Tatiana Suprun, who has two years of experience as a machine operator, evaluated the control of the new machine and noted the comfort of the cabin and the automatic transmission.
Adrenaline is off the charts – it's something indescribable. Everything in the cabin is automated: it's convenient, simple, and pleasant to work with.
Currently, four prototype BELARUS 5425 machines have been manufactured. After completing tests and eliminating identified shortcomings, the tractor is planned to be launched into mass production, and by 2027, deliveries to farms are expected to begin.
