Russian Army Receives New Su-34 Fighters and Modernized Su-30SM2s

OAK continues to improve combat aircraft based on operational experience

Rostec, as part of the state defense order, has delivered new multi-role Su-30SM2 fighters and Su-34 fighter-bombers to the military. All aircraft underwent a full cycle of ground and flight factory tests before being sent to their duty stations.

The modernized Su-30SM2 received a new radar station, which allows the crew to see significantly further compared to the previous version. The aircraft is equipped with a powerful electronic warfare system and is capable of accurately hitting a wide range of ground, air, and sea targets without entering the enemy's air defense zone.

The Su-34 front-line bomber is designed to strike ground, surface, and air targets, as well as infrastructure facilities covered by air defense systems and located at a significant distance from the home airfield. The aircraft's flight range reaches 4 thousand km, maximum speed is 1900 km/h, and combat load is up to 8 tons. The aircraft can also be used for aerial reconnaissance.

Pilots of the Russian Aerospace Forces highly praised the combat capabilities of the Su-34, noting that the aircraft has a wide range of weapons and great modernization potential.

Simultaneously with the delivery of equipment, OAK continues to work on further improving combat aircraft, including taking into account the experience gained during their operation.
