The third-generation MAZ 303T21 trolleybus with an autonomous range of up to 30 km, developed by specialists from the Minsk Automobile Plant (OAO "MAZ") and ITELMA Group, was showcased at the "Innoprom-2026" international exhibition in Yekaterinburg.
The advantage of the trolleybus is its unified large-class MAZ body (for buses, electric buses, trolleybuses), which speeds up production. The rolling stock is equipped with traction batteries from "Autonomous Energy Systems" (OOO "SAE", part of ITELMA Group). Similar energy storage devices are used in MAZ 303 and MAZ 305E electric buses.
The principles implemented in the creation of the trolleybus allowed for a significant level of localization — the share of Belarusian-Russian components is 93%.

MAZ and companies within the ITELMA Group signed an agreement on industrial cooperation in 2025. As part of this cooperation, they developed the MAZ 303E23 electric bus with 100% localization.
