"Clings with its teeth": "Yolka" drone interceptor gets an update

The drone independently selects the ideal point to hit the target

The "Yolka" drone interceptor now independently selects the optimal trajectory for ramming thanks to artificial intelligence technologies. This was reported by a military expert with the call sign Korsar.

When using this UAV, soldiers only need to put the unit into combat position and pull the trigger. The rest is a matter of technology.

Artificial intelligence clings to the target quite tightly and pursues it to the end. The drone also selects the ideal point of impact on the object itself.

"Yolka" hits drones by ramming. The interceptor's mass is 1.3 kg, the declared capture and engagement range is up to 3 km. There were rumors on the Internet that one interceptor costs up to 800 thousand rubles, but the real price is many times lower.

The complex operates completely autonomously; the crew only needs to launch "Yolka" towards the drone and the interceptor at high speed crashes into the UAV, bringing it to the ground.
