Kazan Aviation Plant breaks its record for the pace of new Tu-214 production

KAZ is now simultaneously building four new airliners, compared to one previously

The Kazan Aviation Plant is simultaneously producing four Tu-214 passenger aircraft. In July, aircraft RA-64537 is expected to arrive at the flight test station.

Another aircraft, RA-64538, is in the final assembly stage, and the fuselage for RA-64539 has already been laid. Previously, aircraft RA-64536 was sent to the customer.

In fact, the enterprise is currently working on several aircraft simultaneously, a pace that was recently unattainable for the Tu-214 program. Since 2022, KAZ has been building one aircraft per year.

The program should receive an additional boost from the strengthening of the civil aviation management. Ramil Akhmadeev has been appointed to oversee civil and special aviation projects at "Tupolev".
