Future LADA cars will be developed using a Russian digital platform. In July 2026, AvtoVAZ plans to begin the phased full-scale implementation of T-FLEX PLM – a system in which engineers will be able to manage a car project from digital models and drawings to welding preparation and the release of production documentation.
The project has already passed its main review. Its fifth and final stage was completed on May 27. All completed works passed acceptance tests, and the Russian solution was put into commercial operation. Now it needs to be gradually deployed in the enterprise's divisions.
T-FLEX PLM will help engineers simultaneously work with the car's design, electronic systems, individual parts, documentation, safety requirements, and future production operations.
The platform is also used for working with body geometry, modeling welding processes, and designing molds. In addition, it provides for the creation of photorealistic images and the use of virtual reality technologies.
The project was implemented by AvtoVAZ and the Russian company "Top Systems" with grant support from the Russian Information Technology Development Fund. The grant amount was 496.1 million rubles.
