Saint Petersburg State University (SPbSU) won the Ministry of Digital Development's "Top-IT" competition and is launching two educational programs jointly with HeadHunter, the recruiting platform's press service told TASS.
Already in the second semester, students will be given anonymized business cases from industrial partners. The university explained that this is not about guest lectures, but about full-fledged work under the guidance of active specialists. The winning areas were "Programming and Information Technologies" and "Big Data and Distributed Digital Platform." The parties signed an agreement on internships and apprenticeships at the SPIEF.
The personnel shortage in the AI sector makes such alliances not a gesture of goodwill, but a necessity. Businesses need engineers who can work with distributed platforms and big data from day one. In parallel, HeadHunter opened vacancy viewing on the ECG rating website so that students can see potential employers even during their studies.
