The Chelyabinsk Mechanical Plant presented a new truck crane based on the KAMAZ-53602 4×2 chassis, equipped with an electric drive for operation from an industrial network. The machine is designed to perform lifting operations in conditions where the use of a diesel engine is undesirable or restricted, including enclosed warehouses, logistics terminals, and production facilities.
The main technical difference of the new product is an additional electric motor, which allows the crane equipment to be fully powered from a 380 V / 50 Hz AC network. In this mode, the chassis engine is not used, which reduces fuel consumption and simplifies the operation of equipment inside buildings.
The electric operating scheme provides smoother control of mechanisms and high accuracy of load positioning, which is especially important when working in confined spaces and during equipment installation.
The truck crane's lifting capacity is 16 tons, which allows it to be used for a wide range of loading and unloading and installation tasks. In essence, the manufacturer adapted a classic truck crane to the format of stationary-electric operation without losing the mobility of the base chassis.
