Baikonur Reaches Peak Readiness: "Progress MS-35" and "Soyuz MS-29" Await Launch

The launch of the crewed mission to the ISS is scheduled for July 14 and will be a key event of the summer

At the Baikonur Cosmodrome, the final stage of preparation for two key missions to the ISS is underway: the new cargo spacecraft "Progress MS-35" and the crewed "Soyuz MS-29". Specialists have de-preserved the cargo ship, checked the condition of the solar panels, and tested the onboard systems, while the crews of the crewed spacecraft have arrived at the site for the final stage of preparation for the launch, scheduled for July 14. The preparations are coordinated by Roscosmos.

As part of the work with "Progress MS-35", engineers focused on checking the radio-technical channels and control systems, which will undergo a full cycle of tests by the end of July. Simultaneously, at the Krainiy airfield, cosmonauts and astronauts reported to the leadership on their readiness to perform the flight and complete the docking program with the International Space Station. Organizational services confirmed the crews' readiness for the mission's launch phase.

The main crew of the mission (ISS-75 expedition) includes Roscosmos cosmonauts Pyotr Dubrov and Anna Kikina, as well as NASA astronaut Anil Menon.

The launch of "Soyuz MS-29" will be one of the most anticipated events of the upcoming space window. A public broadcast of the launch will be organized in digital format in cooperation with media platforms, allowing real-time monitoring of the mission.
