"Yandex" presented a platform for creating AI agents in Alice AI. Now the neural network should not only find information but also take on everyday tasks — for example, calling a taxi or assembling a grocery cart.
Agents understand requests in natural language and can perform not just one action, but an entire chain. The user will be able to say: "Let's go to work" — and the assistant will offer a ride. Or ask to gather groceries for a balanced dinner for two adults and a child.
Such assistants will be able to take context into account: time of day, day of the week, weather, and user habits. That is, grocery orders or rides will be selected not only by command but also considering the situation.
The first agents are already being tested by Yandex Taxi and Yandex Lavka; for now, they are available to some users of the chat with Alice AI. Next, assistants for Yandex Delivery and Yandex Market will appear.
In the future, Yandex wants to turn the chat with Alice AI into a single window for its services and external companies. The first partners will be able to create their own agents by the end of the year.
