Ramil Akhmadeev, 46, has been appointed Deputy Managing Director of PAO "Tupolev". The company confirmed the information, "BUSINESS Online" reported.
Akhmadeev will oversee civil and special aviation programs, including the production of the Tu-214 passenger aircraft.
The new leader is well acquainted with the aviation industry of Tatarstan. Akhmadeev worked at the "Russian Helicopters" holding, where he was involved in the analysis of strategic projects and capital markets.
Later, Akhmadeev moved to the Ural Civil Aviation Plant (UZGA), where he headed the enterprise's division created for the development of the heavy unmanned complex "Altius".
