St. Petersburg company "Neptun-Diesel", which specializes in re-engineering and localization of parts for shipbuilding, has delivered a power plant operating mode setting unit for the SVP-50 hovercraft of Project 12270M. It is being built at the Khabarovsk Shipyard.
Initially, the Project 12270M vessel was planned to be equipped with German Deutz engines. However, due to sanctions, the developers had to find an alternative.
The foreign equipment was replaced with two Russian in-line KAMAZ R6 diesel engines (940.20/910 family). The setting unit from "Neptun-Diesel" is designed to interact with these units.
