"Sollers" launched body parts stamping in Ulyanovsk region for 1.1 billion rubles

MMK will supply metal for pickups and SUVs

Serial production of body parts for Sollers brand cars has been launched in "Sollers New Technologies Park" in the Ulyanovsk region, the secretariat of First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov reported.

Body parts are stamped from Russian galvanized metal. The supplier is Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works. The total investment in the project amounted to 1.1 billion rubles, of which 850 million were attracted in the form of a preferential loan from the Industrial Development Fund.

The new production will allow full localization of pickup bodies and the future Sollers SUV. In the future, parts for UAZ will also be stamped here. The pilot batch of the Sollers S9 SUV has already been assembled and submitted for certification. Full-scale serial production using the full cycle technology will start in September 2026.
