Artificial intelligence is ceasing to be merely a tool to assist humans and is transforming into a full-fledged participant in economic processes. This was stated by the President and Chairman of the Board of Sberbank, German Gref, at the first SberUniversity forum "More than Management."
According to Gref, a new economy is forming today, in which intelligent systems are capable of independently solving increasingly complex problems. The role of humans is shifting towards setting goals, making decisions, and taking responsibility for the outcome. This will require a rethinking of management practices but will simultaneously open up new opportunities for efficiency growth.
The Head of Sberbank noted that the key trend is the development of intelligent agents that are taking on more and more cognitive functions. The Sberbank press service added that one of the main products in this area is "Gigaakademiya" for training in working with multi-agent systems.
