Specialists of the Belarusian design bureau (DB) "Bespilotnye Vertolety" (UAVHELI brand) have started developing the Eagle unmanned helicopter with a maximum take-off weight of 750 kg. The components and assemblies of the new rotorcraft will be unified with the Hunter unmanned aerial system, the DB's press service reported.
Unification with Hunter allows to shorten the development cycle and ensure high-quality technical maintenance.
Eagle will be part of the line of multifunctional unmanned aerial systems (which includes Sky-Truck, Hunter, Falcon). It will be able to deliver cargo, carry out monitoring in remote areas, including on offshore oil and gas platforms.
Characteristics of the Eagle unmanned helicopter:
- KB-150 turboshaft engine
- FADEC electronic-digital engine control system
- Flight duration — 4 hours
- Cruising speed — 190 km/h
- Ability to integrate a module with a deployable life raft
The aerodynamic characteristics and modern power plant of the Eagle ensure stable flights. The presentation of the first prototype is scheduled for 2026.
