Russian military personnel have massively received Molniya series drones. This refers to various modifications of this aircraft, the developing company reported.
Representatives of the manufacturer emphasized that the provision of units is carried out on a regular basis to perform reconnaissance, target engagement, and counter-UAV tasks.
The most famous drone in the lineup is the Molniya-2 strike drone. Recently, the military received a modification with artificial intelligence for autonomous target acquisition and subsequent attack.
Then the drone was transformed into a reconnaissance aircraft with increased flight time and a highly sensitive camera. The built-in autopilot mode allows the aircraft to maintain course and perform its mission even when attempts are made to jam communications.
Another version of Molniya is with the PVO prefix. The drone was equipped with a homing head, allowing it to intercept aerial targets at speeds over 200 km/h.
