The UK has expanded its sanctions list against Russia by 43 positions. The new restrictions target 32 legal entities and 11 individuals, as well as 27 vessels that London attributes to the so-called "shadow fleet." Among the companies on the list are Yandex Bank, WB Bank, Rosgosstrakh, and Eurofinance Mosnarbank.

For users, the main question is whether this will affect ordinary operations: cards, transfers, deposits, loans, and marketplace settlements. WB Bank stated that UK sanctions will not lead to changes in customer and partner service.

WB Bank continues to operate as usual. The bank has always been focused on operating within the Russian Federation. There will be no changes in service for the bank's and marketplace's clients and partners.

The credit institution clarified that individuals and legal entities will be able to transfer funds, use cards, receive interest income on deposits, apply for loans, and maintain settlement accounts, as before.

Yandex Bank also stated that the British restrictions do not affect its operational activities and the development strategy of its financial directions. They emphasized that all financial services for users and partners will continue to operate as usual.

The imposed restrictions do not apply to the parent company – MKPAO Yandex – and other subsidiaries of the group. The introduced measures do not affect the operation of any other services of the ecosystem.

The new measures are part of another British sanctions package. For bank clients, the main signal so far is this: sanctions add external restrictions, but the daily operation of services within Russia should continue.
