"Progress MS-36" arrived at Baikonur for preparation for launch to the ISS

The spacecraft traveled 2,500 km by rail and is preparing for launch

The "Progress MS-36" transport spacecraft has arrived at the Baikonur Cosmodrome, having been transported by rail over a distance of more than 2.5 thousand kilometers. Specialists from the "Energia" Rocket and Space Corporation are preparing the apparatus for further testing and launch as part of the International Space Station supply program.

Upon arrival, the spacecraft was installed in the assembly and testing facility, where the incoming inspection cycle began. Engineers are conducting an external inspection of the apparatus and checking key systems, including the solar panel deployment mechanism, to confirm its readiness for further stages of preparation.

The transportation by rail took place in a specialized carriage with shock absorption and microclimate maintenance, however, long-term transportation requires mandatory checking of all systems upon arrival at the cosmodrome.

Further work includes preparing the spacecraft for launch as part of the regular ISS supply program.
