India did not supply Pobeda with aircraft parts worth 58 million rubles for its Boeing 737-800 fleet

The Russian airline withdrew its lawsuit against Spark Aviation

Pobeda airline withdrew its lawsuit against the Indian company Spark Aviation from the Moscow Arbitration Court. The carrier demanded 58 million rubles from the supplier of spare parts and components.

The statement of claim was filed with the court on April 23 and was initially left without movement due to procedural violations. The court then extended the period for leaving it without movement until June 16, but on June 2, Pobeda filed a petition to return the statement of claim.

The lawsuit sought to recover a debt of approximately $686,000 and damages of approximately $100,000. The reasons for withdrawing the lawsuit were not disclosed.

Spark Aviation was founded in 2021. It is a leading supplier and seller of a wide range of aviation products, according to its website.

Pobeda is part of Aeroflot, which is itself currently spending on maintaining the airworthiness of Airbus and Boeing, while still awaiting new MC-21-310s. The company's fleet consists of 42 modern Boeing 737-800 passenger aircraft.
