On June 5, the Russian aircraft industry officially received a new regional turboprop aircraft, the Il-114-300. The turboprop machine was issued a type certificate, Rostec reported.
The head of the state corporation, Sergey Chemezov, emphasized that during certification, the experimental Il-114-300 performed about 350 flights, confirming its reliability and safety.
In short, the machine turned out to be reliable, and a modern system of operation and technical support is being created for it. I am sure this machine has a good future.
Rostec clarified that the Il-114-300 is produced at the Lukhovitsky Aircraft Plant. There is already a firm contract for the first three machines.
According to the Comprehensive Civil Aviation Development Program until 2035, 93 Il-114-300 aircraft will be built in Russia. The CPGA version until 2030 indicated 51 planned units.
Earlier, "Pervy Tekhnichesky" conducted a large comparison of the new import-substituted version of the Il-114-300 with its Soviet predecessor — the Il-114.
