The BelAZ-7530R mining dump truck premiered at the "Coal of Russia and Mining-2026" exhibition in Novokuznetsk. The main difference of the novelty from its counterparts is the complete abandonment of a diesel engine in favor of a gas-piston power unit.
The 220-ton capacity machine is equipped with a gas engine with a power of 2335 horsepower (1716 kW), which develops the same traction characteristics as its diesel counterpart. At the same time, operating costs are lower: fuel savings are estimated at approximately 35 million rubles per year per dump truck.
The company equipped the dump truck with a new generation cabin. According to the exhibition organizers, it features 57 improvements – from new ergonomics of the workspace to modern solutions for operator comfort and safety.
In 2026, BelAZ plans to complete pilot industrial tests of gas-powered dump trucks with a carrying capacity of 90, 130, and 220 tons, after which it intends to begin their widespread distribution among consumers. In addition to the gas-powered version, a hydrogen dump truck with zero CO₂ emissions is also being developed based on the 7530 model.
