Russia has created speed sensors for locomotives that completely replace Lenord+Bauer, Jaquet, and Noris

"Theta Tekhnologiya" has started serial production of Hall sensors compatible with foreign analogues

Domestic speed sensors DSMKh-001 and DSMKh-001.4, designed for railway rolling stock, have entered the market. The new products have already been launched into serial production by the "Theta Tekhnologiya" design bureau from Moscow.

The development is positioned as a solution for seamless replacement of speed sensors from foreign manufacturers Lenord+Bauer, Jaquet, and Noris. The devices are installed without changing mounting locations and do not require adaptation of control systems, which allows them to be directly integrated into already operating rolling stock platforms. The sensors can also be used in wheel-motor blocks, gearboxes, and turbo units.

The lineup includes a two-channel model DSMKh-001 and a four-channel version DSMKh-001.4. The devices are based on magnetic Hall sensors and generate an output signal in the form of a meander with a 90-degree phase shift.

The devices are designed to operate in a frequency range from 0 to 20 thousand Hz and are powered by DC sources with a voltage from 9 to 30 V. The design ensures operation at temperatures from minus 40 to plus 120 degrees Celsius.

The housing is made of stainless steel and has a through design with a sealing ring. The IP66/IP68 protection rating allows the sensors to be used in harsh operating conditions, including exposure to oils and cutting fluids directly on the sensitive surface.
