Rare Footage: Roscosmos Shows Cosmonauts' Spacewalks

A new series of extravehicular activities will be conducted on May 27 - the crew will retrieve the "Ekran-M" experiment cassette

Roscosmos published rare photographs of Russian cosmonauts' spacewalks, which took place in October 2025. The images feature Sergey Ryzhikov and Alexey Zubritsky.

One of the photographs was taken on October 17, 2025, during VKD-64, and the other on October 28, 2025, during VKD-65.

In the second image, Zubritsky (left) and Ryzhikov are working with equipment, and the ERA manipulator with the "Ekran-M" installed at its end is visible in the background.

A new spacewalk is scheduled for May 27. Cosmonauts Sergey Kud-Sverchkov and Sergey Mikaev will retrieve another cassette from the "Ekran-M" experiment equipment, which was previously installed on the station's exterior by their predecessors, and will install equipment for the "Solntse-Terahertz" experiment.
