ODK reveals details of new gas pumping unit UGPA-16

The new unit will be able to use different types of gas turbine engines without significant design modifications

United Engine Corporation has revealed details of the UGPA-16 gas pumping unit, which is designed for the construction of new gas transportation infrastructure facilities and gas supplies to countries in the Asia-Pacific region.

The main feature of the UGPA-16 is its unified design, which allows the use of gas turbine engines with a power output from 12 to 32 MW without significant modification of the unit. This approach is based on a high degree of unit unification and the use of serial solutions.

ODK reported that the unit's design and distributed automation system simplify equipment delivery, installation, and further operation. This allows for a nearly twofold reduction in the time required for design, construction, and commissioning of facilities.

UGPA-16 units are already being supplied for key main gas pipelines in Russia, including compressor stations of the "Sakhalin – Khabarovsk – Vladivostok" system, through which gas supplies to China are planned. By the end of 2027, ODK intends to produce six such units for Russian facilities.
