"Motor Sich" Becomes a Thing of the Past: Rostec Announces Powerful Domestic Engine

The super-heavy unit from the Russian state corporation will strengthen positions in aviation and energy

The state corporation Rostec will present its own super-heavy aircraft engine in the coming years, which will replace the products of the Ukrainian plant. This was announced by Viktor Kladov, Director for International Cooperation of the corporation, on the sidelines of the Russian-Chinese EXPO in Harbin.

The development is being carried out as part of import substitution of critically important components for the aviation and energy industries.

In parallel, as reported by "Pervy Tekhnichesky", Rostec is ready to offer China gas pumping and mobile power plants based on Russian aircraft engines – this direction is already attracting interest from partners.

The anniversary X Russian-Chinese EXPO is taking place in Harbin from May 17 to 21. The 12,000 square meter venue brought together 16 Russian regions. The key theme of the exhibition – "Trust. Cooperation. Mutual Benefit" – reflects the course towards deepening technological partnership between the countries.
