Severodvinsk Shipyard "Zvyozdochka" has filed a lawsuit against JSC "GRC Makeeva", the developer of the latest "Sarmat" ballistic missiles. The case, involving 76 million rubles, is being heard by the Arbitration Court of Chelyabinsk Oblast.
The court denied the enterprise's claims, but "Zvyozdochka" filed an appeal against the decision. Now, the 18th Arbitration Appellate Court will handle the process on June 16.
Recall that JSC "GRC Makeeva" is the main developer of the fifth-generation strategic missile system RS-28 "Sarmat". The center's designers engineered the missile, created drawings, calculated the trajectory, and are responsible for the entire complex as a whole.
A day earlier, it became known about the successful testing of "Sarmat". The missile is capable of flying 35 thousand km; none of the existing air defense systems can shoot it down. The ballistic complex will enter service with the Russian Armed Forces in 2027.
