Magura V5 analog with 500 km range and onboard drones created in Russia

The new "Svarog 1.0" uncrewed surface vessel is controlled via satellite communication

The "Svarog" Research and Production Center from Rostov-on-Don has developed a new uncrewed surface vessel (USV) "Svarog 1.0" with an operational range of up to 500 km. A key feature, according to the creators, is its ability to carry drones on board.

The USV can also be used for supply and logistics, as well as a kamikaze vessel to destroy ships.

The operational range is up to 500 km. The USV is controlled via satellite communication. The product is currently undergoing testing.

Among the closest analogs to this development is the Magura V5, but it is capable of covering up to 800 km. However, only the domestic USV has drones.

First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov stated that the country has already established serial production of USVs. According to him, the Armed Forces receive combat vessels on a regular basis.
