The Kovrov Electromechanical Plant (part of the "High-Precision Systems" holding of the Rostec State Corporation) presented a new KVS V4M5 five-axis vertical milling machining center.
The development is designed for processing complex parts and is equipped with a tilting-rotary table with a faceplate diameter of 410 mm, which allows for full five-axis machining.
According to Vladimir Pimenov, General Director of JSC "VNII "Signal"" – the managing organization of JSC "KEMZ", the enterprise has expanded its competencies in machine tool building in recent years, and the manufactured equipment complies with the requirements for localization of industrial products established by Russian legislation.
He also noted that the V4M5 machining center received positive evaluations from specialists due to its five-axis machining capabilities and the design of its work table.
KVS series machine tools are equipped with the Russian IntNC PRO CNC system. The modular digital platform is designed for controlling turning, milling, and five-axis machining centers, as well as other industrial equipment.
