Russian EW system started showing "Nu, pogodi!" to drone operators

Instead of a real image, enemy drones see Soviet cartoons

Russian specialists have developed a new electronic warfare system capable of replacing drone video signals with images from Soviet cartoons. This was reported by an officer with the call sign Aristarkh.

According to him, the system intercepted the UAV's video channel and, instead of a real picture, transmitted fragments of cartoons "Nu, pogodi!", "Cheburashka and Gena", and "Investigation Led by Kolobki" to the operators.

That is, there was an interception first. They checked if it was their own or an enemy flying. You send cartoons, the enemy watches, he doesn't see where it's flying. And it just falls.

The development was named "Marker Hertz". Aristarkh added that the system was created in a specialized workshop to combat drones by interfering with the analog video control channel.

Specialists also tested another compact device called "Zerkalo" (Mirror), designed for electronic countermeasures against UAVs. Its characteristics and purpose have not yet been disclosed.
