The State Corporation Rostec provides about 80% of all the needs of the Russian Armed Forces within the framework of the special military operation. This was reported to TASS by Rostec.
Today, Rostec is also mobilized to solve front-line tasks and provides about 80% of all the needs of the Russian army within the framework of the special military operation. Our factories, many of which are successors to Soviet strategic factories, work seven days a week in multiple shifts. During the SVO, they produced huge volumes of ammunition, including high-precision ones, thousands of units of equipment – tanks, armored personnel carriers, fighters, bombers, howitzers and missile systems, MLRS, drones, and much more.
Rostec emphasized that enterprise specialists were able to create a number of samples in a short time that, in terms of their overall characteristics and adaptability to modern complex combat conditions, surpass Western counterparts.
The state corporation also recalled the contribution of the industrial rear during the Great Patriotic War, noting that it was a selfless and hard work of millions of people who, day and night, seven days a week, under the harshest time constraints and in conditions of material resource shortages, created armored vehicles, aircraft, artillery, rifles and submachine guns, cartridges and shells, and uniforms.
