Servicemen of the Guards Combined Arms Association of the Eastern Military District (VVO) practiced driving Ural-4320 high-cross-country trucks in Primorsky Krai. The soldiers performed maneuvering on a high-speed section of the track, the district's press service reported.
The drivers overcame natural obstacles, anti-tank ditches, slopes, and rutted bridges on the Urals. They moved in a convoy, in reverse.
The servicemen also studied the technical characteristics of the trucks and the requirements for their maintenance. The soldiers were shown how to change batteries, check technical fluids, and place equipment on a railway platform.
Ural-4320
The Ural-4320 is a Soviet army high-cross-country vehicle with a wheel formula and a bonnet layout. It has been produced at the Urals Automobile Plant since 1977.
Since 2014, the Ural-4320 has been equipped with YaMZ-65654 and YaMZ-5362 series engines with up to 300 hp. The vehicle is characterized by high carrying capacity - up to 11.5 tons (with a towed trailer).
The Ural-4320 is designed for transporting soldiers and cargo. Servicemen highly value this truck because it confidently moves through mud (thaw in the off-season) and swampy terrain.
