About a third of graduates turn to artificial intelligence to assess their chances of admission. These conclusions were reached by researchers from RUDN University.
Most often, schoolchildren use AI to calculate passing scores for their desired specialties – 32.2% of respondents reported this. Another 19.5% clarify which universities they can enter with their current USE scores, and the same number are interested in their chances of getting a state-funded place.
At the same time, AI also influences motivation: if desired universities are among the suggested options, 54.8% of graduates are ready to intensify their preparation and try to improve their exam results.
However, schoolchildren are not in a hurry to fully rely on neural networks: 69.8% of respondents stated that they do not trust AI's answers and double-check the information through official sources.
