The assembly section for promising agricultural machines began operation in the new experimental workshop of Rostselmash – the first stage of the large-scale project was completed in April. The plant has started assembling grain harvesters, which will go for field tests this summer.
The new workshop is located on a 12,000 square meter site. The building is equipped according to current production standards: water supply lines have been laid, sewage and storm drainage systems have been installed, and a compressed air supply line with ready technological outlets has been launched.
A modern administrative and amenity complex was built for employees. It includes showers, changing rooms, and a full-fledged dining room – everything to ensure comfortable working shifts.
Currently, grain harvesters of their own design are being assembled at the new site as part of R&D. Simultaneously, tractors and other equipment created from scratch will be produced here. The full launch of the experimental workshop will take place in several stages: the remaining production lines will move to the site in 2026–2027.
