A themed train marking the 111th anniversary of the Gorky Film Studio has entered service on the Kaluzhsko-Rizhskaya Line

The train featuring archival footage from "Guest from the Future" and "Morozko" will run for six months

A train dedicated to the 111th anniversary of the Gorky Film Studio has been launched in the Moscow Metro. On the outside, the cars are painted in white and red tones with images of filmstrip and the studio building; inside, 75 archival photographs of actors and information about the history of the film company have been placed, the Moscow Department of Transport reported.

Founded in 1915 as the "Rus" film atelier, the studio became the first in the world to specialize in children's cinema. Among the films featured on the train are "Guest from the Future," "Seventeen Moments of Spring," "Morozko," and "...The Dawns Here Are Quiet".

Deputy Mayor Maksim Liksutov noted that this is the fourth themed train since the beginning of the year and the first one dedicated to cinematography. The train will run on the Kaluzhsko-Rizhskaya Line for six months.
