The combined heat and power plant of the Priargunsky Industrial Mining and Chemical Association (Krasnokamensk CHP Plant) has successfully passed an unscheduled certification of generating equipment, showing an average capacity of 299.802 MW. The audit was initiated by the "System Operator" to confirm the station's compliance with technical and operational standards.
The comprehensive tests lasted 8 hours. The equipment operated under full load in conditions as close as possible to real operation. The results confirmed the high technical readiness and efficiency of the station.
Alexander Talpe, Director of Krasnokamensk CHP Plant, noted that the successful completion of the certification was made possible thanks to the coordinated work of the team and demonstrates the reliability of the equipment. According to him, the company continues to provide uninterrupted energy and heat supply to the industrial site of the PIMCU, as well as social and residential facilities of the city.
The PIMCU CHP plant was commissioned in 1972 and since then annually produces more than 1.8 million gigacalories of heat and about 1.4 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity. These resources provide heat to the city of Krasnokamensk and energy to the industrial facilities of the enterprise.
