Short Cognitive Tests Prepared for Carsharing Drivers in Moscow

Car rental operators are trying to improve road safety

Carsharing service operators in Moscow have introduced a technology to check the condition of drivers before a trip. To do this, they offer to take a short cognitive test, the Moscow Department of Transport press service reported.

The head of the department, Maxim Liksutov, explained that checks begin during hours of reduced driver attention. Early in the morning, late in the evening, or at night, carsharing clients are offered to take one of the tests in the mobile application.

What the tasks might be:

  • Arrange the numbers in the correct order
  • Choose pictures on one topic
  • Complete a reaction game
The main goal is to improve road safety and remind drivers how important concentration is behind the wheel.
