The medium sea tanker (SMT) "Kama" (project REF-675), which provided ships of the Russian Navy in the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic, returned to the Kola Peninsula. This was reported in the press service of the Northern Fleet.
The tanker "Kama" arrived in its home port of Murmansk after a long voyage. The captain of the vessel, Andrey Netsvetaev, reported to the Deputy Commander of the Northern Fleet, Dmitry Ukrainian, that the sailors had completed all the tasks assigned.
The tanker crew was at sea for more than 7 months. During this time, the North Sea sailors made more than 40 refuelings of ships and vessels. In total, the SMT "Kama" traveled more than 30 thousand nautical miles.

The supply vessel is designed for the transportation of liquid cargo (oil, diesel fuel, fresh water). It was built in 1982 in Finland. "Kama" was part of the USSR Navy, and has been in the Russian Navy since 2003.
