The new Russian interceptor "Yolka" has already shot down "Furia", "Leleka-100", and "Valkyrie" fixed-wing drones. There are no inaccessible targets for this drone, said anti-aircraft gunner Matvey Ryapolov.
"Yolka" catches all types of drones, including reconnaissance drones such as "Leleka-100", "Furia", and "Valkyrie". To put it simply, it intercepts all drones.
In comparison with a classic anti-aircraft missile, "Yolka" does not carry a warhead and strikes drones with a kinetic impact. The interceptor weighs 1.3 kg, has a capture and engagement range of up to 3 km, and a flight speed of up to 230 km/h.
The interceptor accelerates to 230 km/h, while electronic warfare systems do not see it and cannot jam it — there is no control channel.
Also, "Yolka" drones have begun to be used in the defense of "Pantsir" anti-aircraft systems, noted the company commander with the call sign Aron. While the crew is reloading the launcher, the interceptors monitor the air situation.
