An unusual BTR-82A armored personnel carrier with various constructions on the hull has appeared on the Web. The combat vehicle is covered on the sides with lattice screens and dynamic protection blocks "Kontakt".
The military also equipped the vehicle with "bushes" made of untwisted steel cables. Above the roof of the turret is a traditional "barbecue", which strengthens the protection of the upper hemisphere.
The basic armor of the BTR-82A provides only protection from bullets. The transporter also received anti-splinter protection. The vehicle's arsenal includes a machine gun and an automatic cannon with a caliber of 30 millimeters.
Despite the fact that the BTR-82A was released back in 2013, the modernization of the transporter continues. The 2A72 automatic cannon was "placed" on an additional support, thanks to which it began to shoot even more accurately - the accuracy increased. For example, in single mode, the firing accuracy increased by 20%, and when moving on a stationary target at a distance of 1000 m - by 17.3%.
