A major communal conflict has erupted in Nizhny Tagil. The Uralvagonzavod concern has filed a claim against Gornergo-NT for 520 million rubles.
We are talking about heat, which the plant supplies to the city nets. UVZ produces heat, and Gornergo-NT distributes it throughout Nizhny Tagil.
If the supplied energy is not paid for on time, then debts arise. It is them that the plant is recovering. In March, UVZ has already won a court case for more than 200 million rubles. The new requirement is a continuation of the same story.
At the end of 2024, Gornergo-NT received a loss of almost 300 million rubles. This is affected by heat losses, worn-out networks, debts of the consumers themselves and unbalanced tariffs. It is possible to cover such losses only through the support of the city.
As a reminder, Uralvagonzavod is a key manufacturer of T-90M "Proryv" tanks of the latest generation. Also in Nizhny Tagil, the deep modernization of the previously produced T-72 and T-80 into T-72B3M and T-80BVM does not stop.
