A small ship shield simulated a warship of a mock enemy. Shots were fired at it from the AK-630 and AK-176 ship artillery systems.

The Baltic sailors also practiced repelling attacks by naval drones (unmanned boats) and drones from different heights and directions. They used the ship's air defense systems and other standard weapons.

The crew of the MPK "Aleksin" carried out actions to fight for the ship's survivability and anti-sabotage defense, the press service summarized.

About Project 1331M

Small anti-submarine ships were developed in the GDR by engineers from the Zelenodolsk Shipyard. The ships are designed to search for and destroy enemy submarines, and protect naval bases.

In addition to artillery weapons, Project 1331M ships are equipped with missile weapons, in particular, the Igla and Igla-1 MANPADS. MPK "Aleksin" carries RBU-6000 Smerch-2 anti-submarine rocket launchers and depth charge launchers.
