The new import-substituted regional turboprop passenger aircraft Il-114-300 has fully completed flight tests. This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Anton Alikhanov.
The package of demonstration documentation has already been sent for examination to the Aviation Register of Russia.
Following the completion of the review of the documentation, Rosaviatsiya will issue an approval of the main change.
According to Alikhanov, the contracting of aircraft will depend on obtaining a certificate. It is expected that the certification of the Il-114-300 will take place in May 2026, and in the same year it is planned to deliver three contracted aircraft.
The head of the Ministry of Transport, Andrey Nikitin, stated that the Il-114-300 will complete certification in the coming months, but did not rule out that the process could be delayed until the end of 2026. What exactly is the problem with the timing, the head of the department did not explain.
Earlier, Rosaviatsiya approved the RA60 passenger seats for the Il-114-300. The tests confirmed that the model meets the current requirements.
