Russian engineer Viktor Bakhirev has come up with a concept for a futuristic gravitational installation. It is a device that uses the movement of cargo inside a rotor to create rotation. The documents were placed in the official database of the FIPS in March 2026.
Bakhirev proposed a scheme in which energy is generated by redistributing mass during movement.
The design includes a rotor with gears and side disks with radial shelves arranged at an angle to the axis. A belt with weights moves along these elements. At the key point of the system, there is a bumper that transfers the weights from the small radius of the rotor to the shelves of the disks.
Due to this transfer, the center of mass is shifted, creating an unstable position of the system. This, according to the engineer, should maintain the rotation of the rotor and generate torque without an external energy source.
In fact, we are talking about an attempt to implement a gravitational engine. This concept involves obtaining work through gravity and the redistribution of mass inside the mechanism.
But such solutions should be treated with caution, because the scheme requires an external supply of energy to move the weights, otherwise the balance of forces is disturbed.
General Designer of OKB named after A. Lyulka (part of UEC) Evgeny Marchukov admitted that in the future, engines operating on the principle of field interaction will appear for fighters.
