Exports of Ansat and Mi-8 Plant Plunged by 77.8%

Against the backdrop of falling external supplies, the Kazan Helicopter Plant (KVZ) maintained its financial performance due to the domestic market. The company's export revenue decreased by approximately 4.5 times, while sales within Russia increased sharply.

At the end of 2025, the plant's exports fell from 18.2 billion to 4.05 billion rubles — by 77.8% compared to 2024 figures. Supplies to Asia decreased almost fivefold — from 17.4 billion to 3.5 billion rubles.

At the same time, sales in Russia increased by 29% — to 46.7 billion rubles. Total revenue amounted to 58.4 billion rubles, decreasing by only 0.9%, despite a serious drop in exports.

KVZ builds mainly heavy-class Mi-8MTV-1 rotorcraft for civilian customers. The model range of the Kazan enterprise theoretically consists of four items: Mi-8, Ansat, Mi-38, Mi-34. Previously, legal cases were initiated against it due to debt of 881 million rubles.
